Keto Bread Rolls

Certainly, keto bread rolls are the best egg-free keto bread to fix your bread cravings, on low carb and keto diets. Eggs add too much moisture or egg-like flavor to bread. And, if you like your bread moisture-free, then this recipe is just the ideal one for you. Further, avoiding eggs in keto bread rolls make it taste more real and wholesome. Here is what you need to do:

Ingredients Required.

Dry Ingredients.

  • 1 ¼  Cup Ketofy – Almond Flour (150 g)
  • ¼ Cup Ketofy – Keto Coconut Flour (30 g)
  • ¼ Cup + 3 Tbsp Ground Psyllium Husk (37g)
  • ½ Tsp Salt
  • 2 Tsp Baking Powder

Liquid Ingredients.

  • 2 Tsp Apple Cider Vinegar
  • 1 Tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1 Cup Hot Water (Similar to 40 C)


  • 2 Tbsp Sesame Seeds

How to Make Keto Bread Rolls?

Step 1: Firstly, preheat the oven to 375 F (180 C). Secondly, lay a baking tray with parchment paper. And, set it aside. 

Step 2: After that, in a large mixing bowl, add all the dry ingredients first. The dry ones include Ketofy – Almond Flour, Ketofy – Keto Coconut Flour, ground psyllium husk, baking powder, and salt. Subsequently, stir to combine to form the bread mixture.

Step 3: Further, add apple cider vinegar, olive oil and stir in hot water. Meanwhile, stir the mixture with a spatula for a minute. Consequently, the water will absorb gradually, drying out the mixture to create the bread dough. 

Step 4: Above all, the dough shall be a bit soft and sticky and that is normal. However, you should be able to form a ball with your hand. For instance, if you are unable to do so, add slightly more husk. Let’s say, 1 tsp at a time. You want the ball to hold together. Hence, don’t add more than 1 tbsp of husk. 

Step 5: To clarify, set aside the dough for 10 minutes to let the fibre absorb the liquid. Most importantly, the dough should be elastic, soft, and easy enough to divide into 6 small balls.

Step 6: Roll a small ball between your hands and place it on the baking tray. Likewise, repeat the same process with the remaining 5 bread dough balls. Also, do not leave more than half a thumb space between each bread. In other words, they won’t expand while baking.

Step 7: In addition, with a pastry brush, brush the top of each bread ball with a bit of water. And, sprinkle some sesame seeds on top of each bread to enhance the flavour!

Step 8: Moreover, bake the bread rolls for around 40-45 minutes at 180 C (375 F). We recommend that you place the tray at the very bottom of the oven for 30 minutes. And, then swap to the top most level for extra 10-15 minutes. 

Step 9: If you love your bread crusty, for example,  turn onto grill mode for an extra 5 minutes after the 40-45 minutes baking time. Watch them closely to avoid the top to burn while you use the grill method.

Step 10: Now, fully cool down on a cooling rack. Further, slice halfway and enjoy as a bread roll with butter, ham or cheese.

Our Conclusion

To sum up, store the bread rolls in the pantry for 5-6 days. Meanwhile, we suggest you to wrap them in a towel to keep them fresh and rewarm them sliced, in your toaster. In other words, this shall add some crispiness. You can also freeze the bread and double the recipe to make more ahead.
