Keto Tokri Chaat
Who doesn’t love tokri chaat? We are sure that everyone does! Nevertheless, above all, the basic ingredients that go into making a good chaat, like sev, puri, and potato are not even close to being keto. In the same vein, tamarind and date chutneys are far from being keto too.
Additionally, these edible baskets are filled with a mixture of puffed rice, potatoes, onions and tomatoes. So, these, when served with a variety of chutneys, are savored by one and all. Although, usually, the tokris are made with thinly sliced potatoes that are then deep fried. Hence, they are not keto-friendly.

Moreover, using simple ingredients, the baked tokris are easy to make. Also, the chutney is sweet, spicy and tangy. And, the roasted pumpkin seeds on top provide the sev-like texture.

Ingredients Required.
To Make Tokris:
- Ketofy – Almond Flour – 2 Tbsps
- Flax Meal – 2 Tsps
- Mozzarella Cheese (at Room Temperature)
- Salt – 1/4 Tsp
- Chilli Powder – 1/2 Tsp
- Turmeric Powder – 1/2 Tsp
- Jeera / Cumin Powder – 1/2 Tsp
- Grass Fed Ghee – 1/2 Tsp
For Making Green Chutney:
- Coriander – 1 Cup
- Mint / Pudina – 1/2 Cup
- Chilli – 1-2
- Lemon juice – 2 Tsps
- Salt – 1/8 Tsp
- Stevia – 1 Tsp
- Water – 2 Tbsps
In Making Yogurt Mixture:
- Greek Yogurt – 2 Tbsps
- Salt – 1/8 Tsp
- Jeera / Cumin Powder – 1/2 Tsp
Making Tokri Filling:
- Sprouted Mung Beans – 3 Tbsps
- Finely Chopped Bell Pepper – 1 Tbsp
- Chopped Cucumber (Fine) – 1 Tbsp
- Finely Chopped Tomato – 1 Tbsp
- Chopped Spring Onion (Fine) – 1/2 Tbsp
- Roasted Pumpkin Seeds – 1/2 Tsp
How to Make Keto Tokri Chaat?
Tokris:
Step 1: During the process, its advised to preheat the oven to 400F (200C).
Step 2: In a bowl, combine Ketofy – Almond flour, flax meal, mozzarella cheese, salt, cumin powder, chilli powder, and turmeric powder.
Step 3: Additionally, continue to add ghee and form a dough. In addition to this, divide the dough into equal proportions.
Step 4: Firstly, using your fingers, wrap the independent proportions around silicone cupcake liners. Most importantly, make the tokris as thin as possible.
Step 5: Secondly, bake them for 5 to 7 minutes, until, they turn crisp. Once, taken out of the oven, keep them aside on a tray. Let them cool down completely.
Step 6: Further, remove the tokris from the liners. Nonetheless, please note that these can be stored in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
Green Chutney:
Step 7: To make green chutney, add coriander, pudina, chilli, and lemon juice. Further, add water, salt, and stevia to the mixture.
Step 8: During the process, perfectly blend the mixture to form the chutney. Make sure the chutney is thick enough. After that, set it aside.
Yogurt Mixture:
Step 9: Furthermore, add greek yogurt to a bowl and whisk it to form a smooth paste.
Step 10: Also, add salt and cumin powder to the paste. And, now, mix it well. Subsequently, set the yogurt mixture aside.
The Filling:
Step 11: On the other hand, in a bowl, combine the sprouted mung beans, and finely chopped. In addition to this, include bell pepper, cucumber, tomato, and spring onion – all finely chopped.
Step 12: Meanwhile, next, add 1 heaped tsp of green chutney and 1 tbsp of yogurt mixture. Subsequently, mix them well. As a result, your filling is now ready totally ready!
Assembling the Ingredients Together:
Step 13: And, now, it’s time to amalgamate all attributes together. Add the mung bean mixture to each tokri, for instance.
Step 14: Why not make it tastier? Add a little yogurt mixture, and green chutney, for example.
Step 15: After that, top each tokri off with roasted pumpkin seeds.
Step 16: To clarify, now, that your tokri has been assembled with the required ingredients, serve them immediately. That is to say, prevent any sogginess that might creep in.
